Tom and Sue Wood have been in fulltime
Christian Ministry, since taking their
first Pastorate in 1977. Together they
had attended Christ For The
Nations Institute,
in Dallas, Texas. Immediately upon
graduation,enrolled in Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary in Fort Worth,
Texas. Both have earned degrees in Bible
Theology.
Truth and Life
Ministries was incorporated in 1992,
as the Woods prepared to move to Bulgaria to
begin their foreign mission work. Since
that time, the emphasis of their
ministry has been
primarily, on global missions with
special focus on evangelism, teaching and leadership
training. The previous fifteen years had
been spent in pastoring and on the staff
of several international ministries. A large portion of their
ministry time is spent traveling and living in
foreign nations in periods of three
months to one year. They often
spend that time establishing Bible
schools and/or helping develop already
established ministries. In addition to
their organizational skills, they teach, preach,
and always work in cooperation with
other ministers and missionaries.
The Woods have lived in Africa, Wales,
Bulgaria, China, Haiti, Japan and
Macedonia. They have served as
Bible school teachers, speakers,
trainers and counselors. Besides the
above mentioned nations, they have
traveled extensively to many other
nations to teach and train. They hold
certificates in Crisis
Counseling and volunteered their time at
Ground Zero after 9/11 in the U.S.A. |

Tom was raised in Iowa, and is retired
from the U.S. Air Force. He was awarded
the "Distinguished Flying Cross" during
his active AF career. While working at
NASA, he was part of the team that put
the first man on the moon. He has served
as past Vice President of the Fellowship
of Ministers and Churches (FMC). He is a
member of the Full Gospel Chaplaincy, as
well as Full Gospel Fellowship of
Churches and Ministers International
(The Fellowship). He was ordained into
the Ministry in 1976.
Sue was raised in Houston, Texas and was
born again in 1972. She
has worked closely with Tom in the Ministry. Before being ordained into the
Ministry in 1983, she worked in
administrative positions and was
successful in Direct Sales. She
also
taught briefly in
a Christian
academy. Sue is an
accomplished Bible teacher and speaker.
The
Woods
have been married since
1953, and have four adult children who,
with their families
are all serving the Lord.
Tom and Sue minister in many venues; retreats,
marriage seminars, conferences, Bible
schools, churches and other Christian
organizations, both in the U.S. and
Internationally. They move in the gifts
of the spirit and minister on many
subjects as the spirit leads them,
ministering as a team or individually.
"Our greatest desire is to see people
come into the Kingdom of God and grow to
their full potential in Christ as they
grow in the knowledge of the word of God
and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Then we desire to see them step out and
help others do the same," they say.
