CHRIST, OUR KING
He left His home so glorious (Rev. 21:18-21)
To come to you and me (John 3:16)
And bring us life victorious (John 3:17)
From sin to set us free. (I John 3:8)
Although we weren’t deserving (Rom. 3:10,23)
He said, “I’ll go for them”
Then came to earth, a little babe
In a town called Bethlehem. (Matthew 2:1)
He didn’t stay a babe though
Our Great Redeemer grew (Luke 2:52)
Was tempted just as we are now (I John 2:16)
But sin He never knew. (Matthew 4:4 -10)
He took our place at Calvary (Hebrews 12:2)
He fought the fight and won
To make us more than conquerors (Rom. 8:37)
The risen, firstborn Son. (Colossians 1:18)
He’s our Champion, He’s our Lord
That sits upon the throne (Colossians 3:1)
Ever speaking to the Father (Hebrews 12:2)
On behalf of the atoned. (Hebrews 7:25)
And we, His own, are those who’ve asked
Forgiveness for our sin (Mark 1:15)
Believed and said, “The price is paid”(Rom.10:9,10)
Then asked Him to come in. (Rev. 3:20)
Within our hearts He’s come to dwell (I Pet 3:15)
And “Peace on Earth” to bring (Ephesians 2:14)
So we can live and laugh and love (Philippians 4:7)
And Reign with Christ, Our King. (Rev. 5:10)
His Name Is “JESUS” (SAVIOR) (Matt 1:21)

I WILL BE GLAD
There was a time I ran ahead
Toward all the things I dreamed
Looking forward to the day
My life would be redeemed.
My life today was not enjoyed
To "later" I’d respond
The precious moments slipped away
As I looked on beyond.
And then one day it hit me hard
Those very things I’d dreamed
Had touched my life so long ago
I’d missed them it now seemed.
But then the Lord so gently spoke,
Was quietly to my heart,
“It’s not too late, you’ve been redeemed
So make another start.”
That’s what I did and now I know
To live life bit by bit
For this is the day the Lord has made
And I will be glad in IT!
